We attended the Venice Bible Church Easter sunrise service at Manasota Beach. The moon shown in the west as the sun rose behind us in the east.

After the service we gathered on the beach...

to witness 7 baptisms!

TIME OFF...

A day spent on the Myakka River ...

We saw osprey in the tree tops,

and alligators along the river bank.

but, that's not all ...

at Myakka State Park

the gators were plentiful swimming in the river.

They didn't seem to deter the fishermen, tho'.

At Myakka State Park there is a "Canapy Walkway" bridge that spans above the treetops. It's 25' high connecting 2 towers ... one of which is 75' tall. We crossed the bridge and climbed to the top of the tower. What a view!
